I collaborated with Melinda Gates to highlight the complicated, nuanced scenarios women find themselves in when navigating how to feed their newborn babies which really hit home since I was in the throes of new motherhood with an infant daughter at the time! Together, we created an illustrated series with animation to highlight these moments and accompany Melinda’s perspective on the issue. It was featured across multiple news platforms and brought her potent words to life. I love illuminating visionary women’s words through watercolor — it is my abo!
